About the Artist

Meredith Robinson has been making art and music and living in Western MA for the past 40 years.  An avid drawer of dragons, unicorns, and magical kingdoms as a child, art took a backseat for many years as performing music took center stage.  Several years ago eye surgery left her blind in one eye and unable to move much for several months. It was during this period of solitude and very limited physical movement that she picked up some paint brushes and started creating again.  

 

A huge animal lover, Meredith has also done commissioned pet portraits, as well as wildlife scenes.  She prefers working with oils, as they are forgiving and provide a “softness” to images, but also works with pencil for pieces that require precise detail.
